Hong Kong, batting first, lost its first wicket in just the second over. On the third ball of Taskin Ahmed’s over, Anshuman Rath attempted a drive shot. The Bangladeshi fielders made a strong appeal, but the on-field umpire declared him not out.

On the last ball of the fourth over, Zeeshan Ali attempted a second run but turned back without touching the crease. Taskin bowled outside off stump, Zeeshan stepped back and played a shot, then ran for two. However, while completing the second run, he failed to ground his bat properly inside the crease. As a result, the umpire signalled a short run, and one run was deducted from Hong Kong’s total.
