News India Live, Digital Desk: People had high expectations about Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Bengal Files’, especially after his previous successful film ‘The Kashmir Files’. But, it seems that this film has not been able to show that kind of amazing at the box office. While completing their second week journey in theaters, the film’s earnings figures have been a bit disappointing. Box office report card of ‘Pat Bengal Files’: ‘The Bengal Files’ has collected a total collection of only Rs 15.72 crore at the box office in its 14-day race. The film earned even less on its 14th day, just 26 lakh rupees. Seeing this, it seems that after the initial days, the audience kept distance from this film. If we talk about the first week, the film had caught a few speeds and earned more than Rs 11 crore. But in the second week, this pace stopped completely. On the 11th day, he earned only 4 lakh rupees and 50 lakh rupees on the 12th day. On the 13th day, it had come down to 46 lakh rupees. This trend clearly shows that the film could not make as much space in the hearts of the audience as it was expected. It got a direct competition from some big films at the box office, such as Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 4’ and the Hollywood horror film ‘The Conjuring: Last Rights’. Both these films attracted the attention of the audience more, and it had a direct impact on the earnings of ‘The Bengal files’. While ‘Baaghi 4’ has earned more than 50 crores, ‘The Conjuring: Last Rights’ has also been better than ‘The Bengal files’. Apart from this, ‘The Bengal files’ in the film’s main target audience, i.e. West Bengal, did not get permission. This caused a direct loss of a big audience to the film, due to which it also had a profound impact on its earnings. With a lot of ‘The Bengal Files’ has not been able to spread its fire at the box office and now the time of its landing is coming from theaters.
