Maharashtra School: Today’s news is going to be special for school students in the state. In fact, various schemes are being implemented by the Central and State Government for the students. The government also implement some scholarship schemes for students.

Today, we are going to look at such an important scholarship plan implemented by the Central Government. The central government is implementing a National Secondary Education Scholarship Scheme for students across the country.

This scheme is implemented through the Ministry of Education of the Central Government. The National Secondary Education Scholarship Scheme is becoming a great opportunity for quality students in the economically weak.

Under this scheme, a scholarship exam is conducted for students studying in class VIII. Students who pass this provide a scholarship of Rs 1000 per month from the government.

That is, a scholarship of twelve thousand rupees is obtained in twelve months. This scheme has been launched by the central government in Maharashtra too. Meanwhile, under this scholarship scheme, the exam will be held on December December in our state.

Also, the results of the exam will be announced in February next year. The purpose of this scheme is to encourage the poor and intelligent students to study from the higher secondary level.

Students who pass the exam get a scholarship of Rs 1,000 per month. Students who have passed this exam get money from ninth to 12th. But the students do not have to apply for this exam.

The application process is done directly through schools. The students do not want to apply themselves, but the school presents the required documents on behalf of them. Applicants must be studying in the state government, government subsidized or local institutions’ schools.

A student with at least 55 percent marks in the seventh exam is eligible. Although the scheduled caste and scheduled tribal students got 50 percent marks, they are eligible. The annual income of the parents for getting a scholarship should be less than Rs.

Students can also be given this exam in Marathi. The NMMS scheme is the foundation of educational progress for many students, and thousands of students get its benefit every year. The examination of the 2025-26 academic year will be a golden opportunity for the students for a bright future.
