Pakistan is not accepting its mistake, refuses to violate rules, ICC in action mood on PCB

Asia Cup 2025: In the Asia Cup 2025, the controversies to the Pakistan cricket team are not taking the name of stopping. Before the match against the UAE, the team Pakistan did a drama not to play the match. Darhasar Pakistan had demanded the match referee Andy Paiyoft and also threatened that if the match referee was not out, the Pak team would be out of the Asia Cup. But finally the team came out with the match referee Andy Paiyoft to play match against YAEE.

Pakistan broke the rules in the meeting

Prior to the match, Andy Paycroft met Pak captain Salman Ali Aga, coach Mike Hessen and the team manager. During this time, the media manager of the team also attended the meeting. Which is against the rules of ICC. After this, the PCB then put a video on social media and claimed that Payakroft has apologized.

At the same time, the match referee regretted not joining hands with the Indian team. ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta sent email to Pakistan Cricket Board and informed about breaking the rules. Now the ICC is considering taking action against PCB.

PCB cleaned

The PCB refused to accept any mistake and clarified that the media manager is part of the team and its presence with the camera according to the SOP is not against the rules. Along with this, PCB also said that if this was a mistake, then the match referee should have stopped there.
