Rauf took 71 matches to take 100 wickets, while Arshdeep did this feat in just 64 matches. This reflects his exceptional performance since his international debut in July 2022. The historic wicket came in Oman’s last over, when Arshdeep dismissed Vinayak Shukla. Shukla had to play a strange pull shot and Rinku Singh caught India by 21 runs on deep mid-wicket. Now Arshdeep is the third fastest bowler to reach 100 T20I wickets in the entire member countries, only Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan (53 matches) and Sri Lanka’s Vanindu Hasranga (63 matches).

Arshdeep did what no Indian bowler could do before reaching 100 wickets in T20 international cricket. This achievement leads him ahead of top Indian bowlers like Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya, who are currently on 96-96 wickets.
His career figures are also fantastic. He took 100 wickets in 1,329 balls and is an average of 18.37, which is excellent for the fast bowler of a full member country.
