After the death of famous singer Zubeen Garg, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has reached Singer’s house with his wife and met his family members. CM said that Zubeen Garg has been postmortem in Singapore. His body has now been given to the Indian Embassy officials, besides several FIRs have been lodged against two people in Assam.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that I went to her wife Riniki Bhuyan Sarma at her residence in Guwahati to show solidarity with the family of my beloved Jubeen Garg in this hour of grief. Thousands of his fans are waiting on the streets for his last darshan – we are in constant touch to bring him back to Assam soon.

CM said that on Friday, Zubeen Garg was doing scuba diving in Singapore. Meanwhile, he suddenly had a serious problem in breathing, after which he was given a CPR and was taken to Singapore General Hospital. But the Indian time was declared dead in the ICU at around 2:30 pm.

CM in constant contact with Singapore
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that he will go to Delhi Airport to receive the body of Zubeen Garg. An FIR has been lodged against Shyamakanu Mahant and Siddharth Sarma in the matter of untimely demise of Zubeen Garg. I have ordered the DGP of Assam to hand over all these FIRs to CID and investigate.
