Ingredients Needed
1 liter full cream milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup condensed milk (optional)
1/4 cup rose petals
10-12 pistachios, finely chopped
10-12 almonds, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
Preparation Steps
- Begin by pouring the milk into a heavy-bottomed saucepan and heating it over medium flame until it reaches a boil.
- Allow the milk to simmer until it reduces to half its original volume, stirring occasionally.
- Once reduced, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- After cooling, incorporate the sugar, condensed milk, rose petals, pistachios, almonds, and cardamom powder into the milk.
- Stir the mixture thoroughly and transfer it to an airtight container.
- Freeze for 6-8 hours or overnight.
- Once set, slice the kulfi with a knife and serve it chilled.
