Police Operation in Ayodhya
Authorities in Ayodhya have dismantled a prostitution ring, leading to the arrest of Ganesh Agarwal, the owner of a private guest house, along with two accomplices. This information was confirmed by a senior police official on Saturday.
During the operation, law enforcement officials apprehended 11 women. Shailendra Singh, the police area officer for Ayodhya, reported that the police team arrived at the guest house late Friday night, causing chaos at the scene.
Singh noted that the women present in the rooms attempted to flee, but female officers stationed outside successfully detained them and brought everyone to the police station.
According to Singh, initial investigations revealed that Ganesh Agarwal had brought these women from Bihar and Gorakhpur. He added that relevant charges have been filed, resulting in the arrest of Agarwal and his two associates.
