Delhi Ayushman Arogya Mandir: New health centers have opened in Delhi. They will offer free testing, medication, and treatment, along with a variety of other services. Find out which diseases will be treated.
Healthcare is essential for everyone. People often have to travel long distances for treatment or testing, but now in Delhi, you can access these services close to home. The new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have been opened for this purpose.
Arogya Mandirs in Delhi will provide patients with free treatment, medication, and lab tests. Services like screenings for pregnant women, vaccinations, and yoga will also be available. These centers will provide direct access to primary health care for city residents.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that three beds will be available for every 1,000 people in Delhi. No patient will die due to lack of treatment. Jan Aushadhi Kendras will be opened in every hospital to ensure affordable and easy access to medicines.
Registration centers have been set up at Arogya Mandirs. Beneficiaries of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and the Vaya Vandana Yojana will also be registered here. This facility will allow people to receive benefits directly and immediately.
These centers will provide free checkups and screenings, including cancer screenings, diabetes screenings, and high blood pressure screenings. Additionally, 14 routine tests, including blood sugar, dengue, malaria, and syphilis, eight blood tests, and 79 other tests, will be performed through outsourcing.
Patients will also be provided with first-aid medical services, including care and delivery for pregnant women, vaccinations for 12 different diseases for children, free access to 105 essential medicines, and treatment for common ailments such as colds, coughs, and fevers.
Twice-weekly yoga classes will be held for health and fitness. Services such as family planning counseling will also be available. Delhi residents will receive not only treatment but also assistance in improving their health and preventing diseases.
