Pakistani actress and writer Mira Sethi has confirmed her divorce, revealing details about a personal chapter of her life that had remained private until now. Mira, known for her roles in dramas like Kuch Ankahi, Janam, Paristan, Silvatain, and Chupke Chupke, comes from a prominent journalistic family. Her parents are celebrated journalists and television personalities, while her brother, Ali Sethi, is a well-known singer.
Mira married Bilal Siddiqui in November 2019 in California after a long-term relationship. Recently, in an interview with Sabahat Zakariya on the digital platform Feminustani, she confirmed that the marriage ended in March 2023, over two years ago.
Reflecting on that period, Mira said it was a delicate and challenging time. “A few months after Kuch Ankahi, I got divorced. During the shoot, it was a very tender and intense time in my life. I was fortunate to have work to focus on. I would wake up and go to the set. Sajal, Ahmed Saab, and Nadeem Baig knew and were extremely kind and supportive,” she shared.
Fans and colleagues have expressed admiration for Mira’s resilience and strength in handling such a difficult phase while continuing her professional commitments. Her candidness has sparked widespread discussion and support across social media.
