Young opener Abhishek Sharma was adjudged the Player of the Match for the Atishi innings. After this match, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was asked questions about the India-Pakistan rivalry in the press conference. On which Surya took a pinch and insulted the Pak team.

Surya was questioned about India’s rivalry with Pakistan. To which he said, “I think you should stop asking questions on rivalry. Because, I did not understand the level of rivalry. Standard rivalry is the same thing, whether a team played good cricket or not.”

Surya jokes

Suryakumar made fun of the Indo-Pak rivalry and said, “According to me, if two teams have to play 15-20 matches, and if the score is 7-7 or someone is ahead 8-7, then it is called good cricket and calls it rivalry. 13-0, 10-1, I do not know what the figures are. But no longer it is rivals.
