‘GST Savings Utsav’ is being organized after the GST rate cuts across the country, under which the public is being made aware of the benefits of this relief. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in this special program in Premnagar, Dehradun and interacted directly from traders to common people. The event not only gave relief to the public, but also gave a message to promote indigenous products.

CM’s special meeting with traders

CM Dhami met traders at Premnagar market in Dehradun on Monday evening. He took feedback about the new GST slab and appealed to the traders to bring the benefits of the reduced GST to the general public. The CM interacted with the shopkeepers and advised to give priority to indigenous products. He said, “Buy indigenous, strengthen the country.” This message was inspiring not only for the traders, but for every citizen.

Direct interaction with public, call for indigenous

In the program, CM Dhami told a large number of people present about ‘Next Generation GST’. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government has reduced GST rates on many essential goods and services, which will benefit every class. The CM appealed to the public to buy more and more indigenous and local products. He said, “When we promote local products, our cottage industries and small businessmen will be strong. This is the way to make the dream of self -reliant India come true.”

The public said- ‘Thank you double engine government!’

The people present in the program described the exemption in GST as the gift of ‘double engine government’. Citizens said that their domestic budget has been relieved due to reduced tax on daily needs. People praised the pair of Prime Minister Modi and CM Dhami and said that the pair has carried forward the country on the path of development and economic stability.

Trust on Modi-Dhami pair

The citizens present in Premnagar said that they have full faith in the pair of Modi and Dhami. The pair not only made economic reforms, but also gave security and stability to the public. In the program, women, youth, businessmen and elders all welcomed CM Dhami strongly and described GST cuts as a big gift to the public.

CM Dhami said that programs like ‘GST Savings Utsav’ make direct communication between the public and the government. He said, “Economic reforms and public welfare are running together under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. From the decrease in GST rates, from housewives to small traders, everyone is benefiting.” CM also added that by adopting indigenous products, we can contribute to the development of society and country.

People expressed gratitude

The people present in the program thanked Prime Minister Modi’s heart for the relief in GST. He said that tax cuts have reduced the prices of everyday things, which has given a lot of relief to the common man. MLA Savita Kapoor, BJP Metropolitan President Siddharth Aggarwal, State Minister Aditya Chauhan and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
