Chief Minister gave sensitivity and help to family members
On the night of 15 and 16 September, Deepak Gupta was murdered by animal smugglers in Mahuacifi village of Pipraich police station area. After this tragic incident, the administration and police were constantly in contact with family members. On Monday morning, CM Yogi met Deepak's father Durgesh Gupta, mother and other family members and understood their pain and tied up.
The CM also provided a check for financial assistance of five lakh rupees to the family and assured that strict action would be taken against Deepak's killers. He said, "Not a single guilty will be spared and the rigorous punishment will be given according to the law."
Police action and information about the scene
Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police arrested four accused and sent them to jail. A member of the animal smuggler gang injured in the beating of villagers also died. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the administration and police officers were constantly in touch with the family and ensured security and help.
MP Ravikishan Shukla and Pipraich MLA Mahendrapal Singh were also present there. CM Yogi expressed condolences during the meeting with family members and assured them that justice would be ensured at every step with them.
