A beloved early 2000s movie is now streaming at no extra cost for Prime Video subscribers, with viewers praising it as "brilliant from start to finish".
The motion picture was based on a stage play and hit cinemas in 2000 to critical acclaim, subsequently scooping three BAFTA awards.
Following the film's triumph, the tale was transformed into a West End musical and continues to move audiences to tears.
Billy Elliot, the movie in question, features Jamie Bell in the leading role and chronicles a working-class lad with a love for ballet.
His dad, a coal miner and single father, disapproves due to prejudiced views about male dancers, leaving Billy caught between his family's expectations and his aspirations, reports the Express.
