
Sudha Murthy Files FIR Over Threatening Call
Sudha Murthy, a member of the Rajya Sabha, has lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police against an unidentified individual. The incident occurred on September 5, when the caller, claiming to be from the Telecommunications department, contacted her mobile phone.
During the call, the individual informed her that her mobile number was not linked to her Aadhaar and alleged that explicit videos of her were being circulated. He threatened that her mobile services would be terminated as a result, as detailed in the FIR.
On September 20, Murthy officially filed the complaint, stating that the caller was aggressive and attempted to extract personal information. She is now pursuing legal measures against this individual for the threats made and the attempt to obtain sensitive information. An investigation is currently in progress.
