The right lamp can help transform any space, but not every corner has a socket, which is why a rechargeable lamp can be the perfect solution. Shoppers in the same predicament are flocking to Dunelm to grab the Keko Rechargeable Lamp, which costs just £20, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The compact lamp comes in black, green, and grey and features a "rechargeable integrated bulb," and according to the product description, it takes up to four hours to fully charge using a removable cable.
With a runtime of up to eight hours, the Keko lamp "can then be unplugged and moved around from room to room, allowing access to areas away from a socket".
It also has touch control and can be dimmed to adjust the brightness for the right ambience.
The Keko lamp is getting positive reviews on Dunelm's website, with one shopper calling it an "amazing little lamp" that's "practical and stylish".
"I love these little retro-style lamps," another shopper wrote. "Rechargeable with a removable cable means no wires, and you can move them about easily. No bulbs to mess about with and light to move about".
A third reviewer, who bought the lamp in green, said it was "charming" and "gives a lovely glowing light".
Another fan commented: "Great light that looks much more expensive than it is!"
"Gorgeous dark green colour and three brightness settings - perfect for my hall entranceway that doesn't have a socket," they added.
The lamp also makes a nice present, with one happy customer saying that after initially purchasing two lamps, "I have bought four more, one for each of my grandchildren".
Some customers were less than impressed with the Keko's battery life once charged, with one saying they "had hoped it would last for a longer period."
Another wrote, "I would prefer at least two days' charge, " but added that it was only a "minor inconvenience" and that they would "definitely recommend" the lamp.
