Habitat's William Morris collection has had an autumnal makeover, bringing in rich seasonal hues and cosy patterns. Launched last year, the range stays true to the artist's signature whimsical, nature-inspired print, but with a purse-friendly price tag.
Morris' work has long been associated with luxury interiors, with cushions, wallpapers, and furniture often carrying a hefty price tag. That's especially true if you're shopping from high-end brands like Morris & Co. (the brand Morris himself founded) or House of Hackney, which offers a line of cushions, fabrics, and wallpapers in collaboration with the William Morris Gallery. In some cases, a single cushion can set you back £100 or more.
But with Habitat's range, prices start at just £18 for cushions. It's quite a saving when you compare the price to similar Morris-inspired designs for sale at House of Hackney. The QUERCUS Medium Piped Velvet Jacquard Cushion from House of Hackney retails for £128. So, that's already £127 more expensive than the most expensive in the Habitat offering.
Of course, Morris & Co. also offers a range of made-to-measure cushions, with the cheapest priced at £84 (£22 more expensive than Habitat's highest-priced cushion in the collection).
While past collections have been filled with light, airy colours perfect for spring and summer, this new autumn collection is all about cosier vibes: think darker tones, autumnal patterns, and sumptuous fabrics like chenille. It's not just cushions, either. The autumn collection also includes bedding, lamps, lampshades, and even the previously sold-out Merton armchair (and matching footstool), now available in a fresh floral fabric.
I've rounded up a few of my top picks below, but you can view the entire new-in range here.

The Sunflower cushion gives a fresh twist to one of William Morris' iconic prints, reimagined in a warm rust colour that's perfect for autumn. The long shape (measuring 60 x 30cm) makes it ideal as a decorative piece on a bed, adding that cosy, autumnal vibe. Made from cotton chenille, the pillowcase is super practical too. You can toss it in the washing machine with your usual laundry. Plus, the fringed edge adds a fun, statement touch to the design.
You also don't need to buy an extra cushion insert, as it comes with a soft polyester cushion inside.

The Batchelors Fringe cushion is another standout from the range. It uses William Morris' classic Batchelors Button print reworked in rich autumnal shades of burnt orange and rose pink. The velvety chenille fabric gives it a lovely soft texture, perfect for adding a bit of seasonal cosiness to your sofa or bed.
I particularly love the fringe edging. It gives the cushion a more premium look, making it seem far more luxe than its price tag of £22. The cover is machine washable, which is always a win, and it comes with a 100% polyester filling.

The months are getting chillier, so a throw is the perfect way to add some extra warmth and personality to your bed. This one takes William Morris' Blackthorn print and gives it an autumnal twist with deep green and dark pink tones. But thanks to the timeless floral design, it's versatile enough to work as a statement piece all year round.
As an added bonus, it's reversible, with a softer pale pink on the flip side, which is perfect for when the spring sunshine starts to peek through. I'd drape it over the end of the bed for that extra pop of colour, though it would also look lovely tossed over an armchair to give your lounge a bit of texture.

The range isn't just about bedding and cushions; it also includes some beautiful decorative pieces, like the Cane Ceramic Table Lamp, which is definitely one of my favourites. The deep blue and green tones are fitting with the seasonal theme, but there's a unique story behind its design.
The ceramic base is designed to resemble bamboo canes, a nod to the cane furniture found at Wightwick Manor, home to the works of William Morris. According to Habitat, the fabric shade is similarly inspired by the tapestries at Wightwick, decorated with delicate, intertwined leaves and vines.
At 54cm tall, this lamp is big enough to be a statement piece for an end table in the living room or as a feature on a sideboard. However, it's LED lightbulbs only, so make sure you've got the right ones on hand.

If you're looking to splurge a little, the range also includes some stunning armchairs and small sofas adorned with classic William Morris prints. While some of them are bold and heavily patterned, the Canterbury Acanthus Armchair offers a more minimalist take.
Made from light-colored oak, it keeps things simple in design but still features a nature-inspired fabric seat-this time a pale blue and green version of Morris' iconic Acanthus print. It's a perfect way to add a touch of elegance to your space without going overboard on pattern.
As an added bonus, the chair arrives fully assembled, so you won't have to worry about putting it together.
Habitat isn't the only brand that has a collaboration range with Morris & Co. Dunelm similarly has a range of throw cushions inspired by some of the designer's most iconic prints. Prices start from £26 for outdoor cushions and £28 for indoor cushions. The range also includes pillow cases and bedding.
H&M Home also has a selection of William Morris prints perfect for framing. They start from £14.99.
