Since the main purpose of human life is to attain salvation, this fast is said to be particularly helpful for all. Devout observers of this pious Hindu ritual attain peace of mind and prosperity." Papankusha Ekadashi 2025 - Date and Time According to Panchang, Ekadashi tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashwin begins on 2 October at 7:10 PM and ends on 3 October at 6:32 PM. Therefore, this year, the Papankusha Ekadashi fast will be observed on 3 October. Even the Puranas mention the importance of Papankusha Ekadashi. The benefits of observing this fast is similar to performing a solar sacrifice. Rama Ekadashi 2025 - Date and Time According to the Vedic calendar, the Krishna Paksha Ekadashi tithi of the month of Kartik begins on 16 October at 10:35 AM and ends the following day, 17 October, at 11:12 AM. Considering the tithi, the Rama Ekadashi fast will be observed on 17 October. According to beliefs, it's said that all the sins and sorrows of a person ends if they observe this fast.
