Immediate Support for Affected Farmers

The Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, has instructed the administration to ensure prompt assistance for farmers whose crops have suffered due to the recent heavy rainfall in the state.


Pawar visited the Karmala taluka in Solapur district, where he engaged with farmers and local officials. He encouraged the farmers to remain hopeful and assured them of all possible support.


In recent days, several regions in Maharashtra have experienced significant rainfall, leading to extensive damage.


In a post on 'X', he stated, “The continuous heavy rains have caused considerable damage to crops. I visited the fields to inspect the crops, spoke with farmers to understand their issues, and gathered information about the losses.”


The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that he has given clear instructions for the administration to carefully plan and implement necessary measures to provide immediate assistance to farmers in flood-affected areas.


He affirmed, “Our government stands firmly behind our farmers.” Pawar also mentioned that he has directed relevant administrative officials to ensure swift aid is made available.
