Eczema skin care tips: Eczema is a long -term skin problem that cannot be completely cured, but correct care, treatment and lifestyle changes can be controlled to a great extent. Today we are telling some important skin care tips here which can be beneficial for people suffering from eczema.

Keep the skin hydrated (moisturize): Apply moisturizer at least twice a day daily, especially immediately after bathing. Choose a moisturizer that are fruitless-free (without aroma) and hypoallergenic. Petroleum jelly, syrupides or oatmeal-based lotions are good options.

Change the way of bathing Do not take a bath with too hot water, it makes the skin more dry. Take a bath with lukewarm water for just 5-10 minutes. Use soft, fragrant cleanser instead of soap. Wipe with light hand and apply moisturizer immediately after bathing.

Choose clothes carefully: Wear soft, cotton clothes. Avoid woolen, tight or synthetic clothes as they can increase irritation. Wash before wearing new clothes, so that the chemicals are removed.

Identify and avoid triggers: The factors that increase eczema of every person may be different. Common triggers such as dust, smoke, perfume, soap, detergent, stress or tension. Very cold or very hot climate. Some foods (eg dairy, nuts, seafood etc. if there is allergies). Keep a trigger diary so that you can know what things are harming your skin.

Follow the treatment suggested by the doctor: Use steroid cream, anti-histamine or immunomodulator cream with doctor’s advice. Never change cream without doctor’s advice.

Reduce stress: Stress can also increase eczema. Adopt meditation, yoga and deep breathing techniques.

Do not itch: It is difficult to avoid itching, but it can worsen the condition. If itching is itching, apply cold compress or cream given by the doctor. Keep nails small for children so that they cannot harm themselves.

Night care: Moisturize before bedtime. You can wear cotton gloves so that it can unknowingly avoid itching at night.
