Keir Starmer has been dealt another humiliating blow as GB News presenter Tom Harwood examined how many migrants have been returned through the government's "one in, one out" policy against the number who have entered the UK illegally since the scheme started. The programme came to an abrupt halt on Thursday (September 25) as Dawn Neesom announced that two more migrants have been deported under the deal, bringing the total number to six out and three in.
Hoping to demonstrate the scale of the numbers, Tom Harwood explained that six people had been removed under the scheme, however, explained that 1,157 migrants entered the country illegally. Comparing the overall figures, Tom revealed that 1,154 migrants have arrived in the UK this week, highlighting that this is far from a win for the government. The presenter said: "You can see the net total here, has that made a big difference? Well... Dawn, back to you."

Dawn added: "That was very concise. We hope that you are as shocked by those numbers as we are."
A family of three, including a young child, became the first to arrive in the UK through the deal struck with the French government.
The Home Office deported four migrants to France, but must now accept people into Britain as part of the arrangement.
Ministers claim the scheme will serve as a deterrent to illegal immigration, as those crossing the Channel in small boats face deportation whilst individuals applying for asylum through legal channels are more likely to gain entry.
A Home Office spokesperson declared: "The UK-France deal is a historic agreement, and these are critical first steps. This is a clear message to people-smuggling gangs that illegal entry into the UK will not be tolerated.
"We will continue to detain and remove those who arrive by small boat. And we will work with France to operate a legal route for an equal number of eligible migrants to come to the UK subject to security checks."
The four individuals who have been removed include an Indian, an Iranian, an Afghan and an Eritrean.
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood announced her intention to "ramp up" one-in, one-out deportations to France. The scheme, which was implemented last month, aims to return those who crossed the English Channel back to the continent, while allowing those who apply in France and are approved to come to Britain.
"I will be ramping up the numbers and I hope to say more about that in the weeks to come," Ms Mahmood said. "You start with a small first step and then you ramp up, which is exactly what we're going to be doing."
