Desk. BSNL has prepared to launch 5G in Metro City of the country. According to reports, the Government Telecom Company can launch 5G service in big cities of the country by the end of the year. The 5G service of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will be completely based on indigenous technology. The company has recently completed the installation of 1 lakh 4G/5G towers in all telecom circles of the country. Now the company is preparing to set up 1 lakh and new towers.

On completion of 25 years of BSNL, the company is going to officially launch 4G service across the country. 4G service based on indigenous technology has been rolled out in Delhi and NCR recently. According to the report, a senior official of the government telecom company has said to launch 5G service later this year. BSNL can launch 5G service in the country’s two major metro cities Delhi and Mumbai. Both these cities have MTNL service. The government has authorized BSNL for mobile service in both these cities.

The company has confirmed that 27 September 2025 will be launched in the entire country tomorrow. BSNL’s 4G network has been fully used indigenous technology. Equipments of Indian companies have been installed from network gear to signal technology. The company will step towards launching 5G service in just a few weeks of launching 4G service. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has also done 5G trials in many cities including Delhi.

BSNL users have a network complaints, due to which they move to private telecom companies such as Airtel, Jio or Vodafone-Idea. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has insisted on improving its network in the last few months. In the last year’s budget, BSNL was allocated to improve a fund network of more than Rs 80 thousand crore. After the launch of 4G and 5G service, the government telecom company will also provide better connectivity like private operators.
