Prepare tasty peanut butter at home in just 10 minutes

Step 1: Prepare Peanuts

  1. Fry the raw peanuts on medium flame for 10–15 minutes, until light brown and aromatic. When cold, rub the peel and remove it. Even if some peels are left, there is no problem.

Step 2: Insert into the blender

  1. Put the roasted peanuts in a strong blender or food processor. Do not fill too much at once; it is better to do it in small batches.

Step 3: Start grinding

  1. The first peanuts will be coarsely ground, and the powder will be formed. This is the first stage, and gradually paste will start to form.

Step 4: Run intermittently

  1. After every 30–60 seconds, stop the blender and scrape down the powder sticking on the edges. This will crush everything equally.

Step 5: Oil will start leaving

  1. After a few minutes, peanuts will release their natural oil, and the mixture will convert into a creamy paste. This is the real magic!

Step 6: Mix a little salt

  1. Now add some salt to it. If you like something sweet, you can add honey or jaggery powder. If it looks very thick, add 1-2 teaspoons of peanut oil.

Step 7: Butter’s creamy technology

  1. Keep blending until the paste becomes completely smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust salt or sweetness.

Step 8: Store

  1. Fill the prepared peanut butter into dry, airtight jars. 1 week will run comfortably at room temperature, and 3–4 weeks in the fridge.

Some additional tips
  • To make peanut butter, first fry the peanuts well. By roasting, both its taste and fragrance increase.
  • Remove the roasted peanut peel, as the taste may be slightly bitter when the peel is a little bitter.
  • Now use a high-power mixer or food processor so that the peanut butter becomes smooth and creamy. Stop the machine and bottom the mixture on the edge.
  • To bring smoothness and last long, add a little peanut oil, coconut oil or olive oil.
  • If you like a sweet taste, you can add a little honey or jaggery powder. Pouring a pinch of salt is enough for those who like salt.
  • To make crunchy peanut butter, finally grind a little peanut and mix it in.
  • Finally, fill the prepared peanut butter in the airtight jar and keep it in the fridge. It will remain fresh and delicious for 2–3 weeks.
