Central employees get a big gift of Dussehra and Diwali, central government approved 3 percent DA to increase

New Delhi. Before Dussehra and Diwali, the central employees have been given a big gift by the Modi government at the Center. The central government has approved the increase in 3 percent dearness allowance (DA). Its benefit will be available to central employees as well as pensioners. Now the total DA has increased from 55 to 58 percent. This decision of the central government will benefit about 1.15 crore central government employees and pensioners. This increase will be applicable from July 1, 2025. The arrears of July, August and September will be given before Diwali, along with the salary of October.
