In a village in Asmoli police station area of ​​Sambhal district, the administration has initiated major action against illegal construction. It is being told that many acres of land in the village, which are originally identified for the pond, was illegally constructed on it for a long time. Madrasa and Barat houses were being operated by local people on this land.

After investigation, the administration issued notice to the concerned parties and directed to remove the construction within 30 days. However, construction was not removed despite the time limit to complete, after which the administration itself decided to take action.

In view of the possibility of any untoward incident during the action, a heavy police force has been deployed in the area. The administration has converted the entire area into a cantonment. Local people have been given strict instructions not to get out of their homes.
