Patna. In Patna, Bihar, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar, while holding a press conference, targeted the BJP government fiercely. He said that, the government formed by ‘vote theft’ is…. The land is a thief, the profit is, the savings are a thief… that government is now engaged in handing over the resources of Bihar to Narendra Modi’s friend Adani. Adani’s vars are union, now they have spread their feet in Bihar.

He further said, the power plant of Bhagalpur, which we are discussing, started during the UPA government. At that time, the state and the central government had to start this project together, but the Modi government pulled back its hands from this project. In such a situation, the questions are-Why was the land given to this project at the rate of Rs 1 per acre? For this project, Adani kept the budget as much as the government had allotted as much budget, then why was this project given to Adani? A total profit of one lakh crore rupees is to be made from this project, which will now not be with the people of Bihar, not in the vault of Modi ji’s friend.
He further said, Adani is taking contracts at a fixed rate of Rs 3 or Rs 3.5 per unit in other states, but in Bihar, the same contract has been received at more than Rs 6 per unit. In such a situation, the question also arises as to why this project was handed over to Adani at such arbitrary rate?
Kanhaiya Kumar further said, this ‘vote thief’ is ‘government-land thief’. For several days, it was going on that there was a survey in Bihar. In such a situation, the people there were taking papers of their land, circling the government offices and were trapped in the nexus of bribery. The truth is that the government does not have to survey, their vulture eyes are on the lands of Bihar. Their aim is to snatch the land of the people of Bihar and hand it over to their friends.
