The Commission honored the booth level officers for their responsibility!

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dnyanesh Kumar on Sunday honored Bihar’s Booth Level Officers (BLOs), who was responsible for the special intensive revision (SIR process) of the voter list. Praising the BLO, he said that the work of booth level workers of Bihar will inspire other employees during SIR across the country.

CEC Dnyanesh Kumar called some booth level officers (BLOs) (BLOs) before the press conference in Patna and honored him with applause. The Chief Election Commissioner said, “The work of verification and purification of the voter list in Bihar was successfully completed.

The booth level officials present here not only did this work efficiently at their booths, but 90,217 BLOs of Bihar have done such exemplary work that can become an inspiration for the whole country. ”

Starting his talk in Bhojpuri and Maithili, he appealed to the voters of Bihar to participate in this mahaparva of democracy with enthusiasm. Gyanesh Kumar said, “Vote with the same enthusiasm and ensure your participation with the same enthusiasm as Biharis celebrate festivals like Chhath Puja with reverence and enthusiasm.”

The Chief Election Commissioner greeted all the voters on behalf of the Election Commission of India, saying, “I call on all the voters of Bihar to fulfill and vote in this festival of democracy.”

He also expressed his gratitude to all BLOs and concerned officials for the success of special intensive revision campaign.

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar said that some of the initiatives started from Bihar include training of booth-level agents. For the first time, the Election Commission conducted such training and all the booth-level agents in Bihar completed their initial training in Delhi a few months ago.

CEC Dnyanesh Kumar further said, “The biggest initiative was the voter list, especially intense revision (SIR), which started on 24 June. Before the time limit, it was completed on time with the cooperation of all voters. The booth-level officers, election and registration officers, who worked so hard, were given a increased remuneration in many years.

The Chief Election Commissioner gave information about the Commission team’s visit to Bihar and preparations for the assembly elections. He said that in addition to Bihar Chief Secretary and DGP, preparations were reviewed with senior officials of the district, election officials of Bihar and nodal officials. He also informed that elections will be held in Bihar before 22 November.
