Jaipur News: In the case of fire incident at the Troma Center of Sawai Mansingh Hospital, the state government has removed Dr. Sushil Bhati, Superintendent of SMS Hospital, Dr. Anurag Dhakad, in -charge of Troma Center, and suspended the Executive Engineer Mr. Mukesh Singhal, in -charge of the Troma Center, Dr. Anurag Dhakad. Also, while canceling the tender of SK Electric Company, the agency employed for fire safety, has been directed to register an FIR against them.
It is noteworthy that after the fire incident at the Troma Center, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma reached the hospital at 3 o’clock in the night and directed to take strict action in the case. Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, the state government has taken this action of suspension including removal of the concerned officials from the post. The state government has given the charge of Superintendent at Sawai Mansingh Hospital to Dr. Mrinal Joshi and Dr. BL Yadav to Dr. BL Yadav.
Earlier, Medical and Health Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Khivansar reached the Troma Center of Sawai Mansingh Hospital on Monday and took stock of the fire incident there. He said that this incident is very sad. He expressed condolences to the 6 dead of the accident and prayed to God to give the family the power to bear the trauma. The Medical Minister visited the scene of the incident and took stock of the situation and directed the members of the High Level Committee constituted to investigate the matter and directed to submit the report early at all points. He instructed the hospital administration to repair the damaged ICU at the earliest and to ensure alternative arrangements to the patients.
During this, in a conversation with the media, the Medical Minister said that the state government has constituted a 6 -member committee under the chairmanship of the Commissioner of Medical Education for a thorough investigation into the entire matter. This committee will investigate all the parties of the incident intensively. Whatever is found guilty in the committee’s investigation report, the strict action will be ensured against it. He said that the dependents of the deceased will soon be given appropriate compensation.
Khivansar said that the Medical Education Department had instructed the CISF to prepare a detailed report in the month of June to improve fire safety and other security arrangements in Sawai Mansingh Hospital and its affiliated hospitals. This report will also be received soon. According to this, security arrangements will be strengthened in Sawai Mansingh Hospital and its affiliated hospitals in the first phase. After this, according to the report of CISF in hospitals across the state, security arrangements will be strengthened. During this, Medical Education Secretary Mr. Ambarish Kumar, Medical Education Commissioner Mr. Iqbal Khan, Sawai Mansingh Medical College Principal Dr. Deepak Maheshwari and other officials were present.
