Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 4: Rishabh Shetty and Rukmini Vasant’s much awaited film ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ has made a splash at the box office. Since its release, the film has been dominated in theaters across India and has been one of the largest opening of 2025. Now, just four days after its release, it has crossed the ₹ 200 crore mark, officially joined the Elite Club and overtook some of the biggest blockbuster films of the year.

Barking start at box office

According to SACNILK’s initial trade reports, Kantara Chapter 1 grossed ₹ 61.85 crore on its first day, setting a new standard for the release of 2025. This pace continued with earnings of ₹ 45.4 crore on the second day and ₹ 55 crore on the third day.

But on Sunday, the film saw a great bounce when it earned ₹ 61 crore more, making its total earnings to ₹ 223.25 crore in four days. With these figures, the film has surpassed almost every major release of the year.

Red 2 – ₹ 206.46 Crore

Stars on land – ₹ 200.77 crore

Loca Chapter 1 – ₹ 179.25 Crore

Great reviews and tremendous zubani promotion

The film is getting tremendous vigorous publicity, the audience is praising its story, music and Shatty’s strong acting. Even veteran actor Anupam Kher appreciated the film on social media, calling it a new definition of “the story of the story of Indian folklore a new definition of cinematic success”.

Business experts estimate that Kantara Chapter will continue to earn great earning even in 1 week. If the same series continues, the film may soon join the ₹ 300 crore club and make new records by 2025.
