
Massive Update On Rishabh Pant’s Injury: Indian team’s strong wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant is recovering from his leg injury. It is expected that he can return to the field by the end of this month. Pant was injured during the England tour. Pant’s leg was fractured during the Manchester Test in England, after which he had to be ruled out of the series.
Apart from the fifth match of Border-Gavaskar, Rishabh Pant has also had to stay out of many main tournaments due to injury. Had to stay out of the Asia Cup and the ongoing two-match Test series between India and West Indies. Apart from this, Pant will also have to stay out of Australia tour. Waiting for clean chit from BCCI
According to Times of India, Pant wants to play for Delhi in the upcoming Ranji Trophy season starting from October 15. However, now Pant is slowly recovering and soon he will be seen returning to the field. The BCCI medical team has not yet assessed Pant’s recovery at the Center of Excellence. Without assessment, Pant will not be allowed to play Ranji Trophy.
Fitness certificate can be obtained on October 10
According to BCCI sources, Pant may get the fitness certificate by October 10. His recovery has taken longer than expected, but his condition is now improving. The BCCI medical team does not want to take any risk, so the final approval is still pending.
Will be seen playing in the match on 25th October
Pant has informed the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) that if he passes the fitness test, he will be available for the Ranji Trophy matches starting from October 25. However, it is considered difficult for him to play in the first match starting from October 15. A DDCA official said that if Pant is available, he can also captain the Delhi team.
Will return in the series against South Africa
It is noteworthy that India’s next Test series against South Africa is starting from November 14. In such a situation, Pant will have a chance to play two Ranji matches before November 5, which can play an important role in preparing for his comeback. It is expected that Pant will be fit before the series against South Africa and will be seen playing on the field.
