New Delhi. A common problem of winter season is dry skin. The skin becomes so dry that if care is not taken, the skin cells become dead and start falling off and the skin appears completely white. This happens due to many reasons. Such as, less production of sebum in the skin, absorption of moisture from the skin by cold air, bathing in hot water, not applying oil or lotion on the skin after bathing. Apple Cide Vinegar
During the winter season, almost everyone takes bath with lukewarm water, which further increases the dryness caused by the weather. To avoid this problem, mix one to one and a half cups of apple cider vinegar in a bucket of lukewarm water. If you are taking bath in bath tub then add two to three cups of vinegar and then take bath.

After taking bath with vinegar water, you do not need to take bath with normal water again. If possible, do not wipe the skin after bathing but let it dry and start applying lotion or oil on the skin only after it dries slightly.

You can use apple cider vinegar in bath water every day. If there is excessive itching in any part of the body, then soak cotton in apple cider vinegar and apply it on that area and then wash it after 15 to 20 minutes. If the problem is severe then you can apply it for 30 minutes also.

Mustard Oil is very useful
Mustard oil is most useful to apply on the skin during winter season. Massage your entire body with this oil except face and neck. Massage whenever you get time within 24 hours.

It would also be better if you apply this oil like lotion on your body after bathing and then wear clothes. This will remove the effect of cold and the skin will also get moisture.

Mustard oil is more useful for the skin during winter season because this oil remains on the skin for a long time. If you apply this oil on your body like a lotion and massage it lightly before sleeping at night and then sleep, your skin will not be dry even after bathing the next day.

This is the reason that when you apply mustard oil even once every day during the winter season, there is no effect of dryness on the skin throughout the day.

Mustard oil is antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. Therefore, it prevents problems like itching, rashes, wool allergy and winter acne.
