Zoho has launched new Point-of-Sale (POS) devices founder Sridhar Vembu announced on X. The devices will enable businesses to accept in-person payments and integrate with Zoho’s broader ecosystem. Vembu said the company’s homegrown instant messaging app Arattai will soon integrate with Zoho Pay further strengthening its payments ecosystem. Arattai To Integrate Zoho Pay Soon Last year Zoho became an RBI-authorised payment aggregator and introduced its suite of online payment solutions. The new POS devices will allow merchants to process transactions via debit and credit cards UPI and mobile wallets. Highlighting Zoho’s growing focus on global fintech and digital payments Vembu added that the company has partnered with NPCI’s NBBL to address real-world business challenges and bolster India’s payments infrastructure. Meanwhile Arattai has witnessed an explosive 100x surge in traffic with daily new sign-ups skyrocketing from 3000 to 3.5 lakh.
