TVS Motor Company is preparing to launch its all-new motorcycle, the Apache RTX 300, in the Indian market. According to reports, the company is expected to unveil the adventure-tourer on 15th October 2025.
The motorcycle was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where TVS positioned it as its entry into the adventure-tourer segment.
Design and Styling Confirmed Through Patent and Spy Shots
TVS had filed the design patent for the Apache RTX 300 in March 2025, and the test mules have been spotted on multiple occasions during road testing. Images from the patent and the test bikes indicate the design features of the motorcycle.
The Apache RTX 300 is expected to feature twin LED headlamps, LED turn indicators, a muscular fuel tank, LED tail lamps, and a transparent windshield.
The front-end design along with the muscular tank is likely to enhance the aggressive look of the motorcycle. At the rear, the bike will reportedly have a split-pillion grab rail attached to a luggage rack and an upswept exhaust, adding to its adventure-ready appeal.
Underpinnings and Chassis Features
While the company has not officially confirmed the technical specifications yet, the spy shots and the model displayed at the Expo provide some insight into the bike’s chassis and suspension setup.
The RTX 300 is expected to be built on a trellis frame, with a fully-adjustable upside-down front fork and a monoshock at the rear.
The wheels are likely to include a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, a common setup for motorcycles in the adventure-tourer segment.
These features are expected to provide a balance of comfort and performance for both city rides and longer journeys.
Engine Platform Likely Based on RT-XD4
The Apache RTX 300 is reported to be powered by a 300cc liquid-cooled engine, developed on TVS’s RT-XD4 engine platform, which was showcased earlier at the 2025 MotoSoul event.
The engine is expected to produce a peak power of around 35 hp and torque of approximately 28.5 Nm, according to sources familiar with the bike’s development.
While official details regarding the transmission, fuel efficiency, and other performance figures have not been revealed, the engine is likely tuned for a combination of spirited performance and practicality for long-distance touring.
Anticipated Features and Market Positioning
The Apache RTX 300 is expected to come with a host of modern features suited for adventure touring, including LED lighting, a luggage rack, and a comfortable split-pillion seating arrangement.
While the final price and variant details are yet to be announced, the bike is likely to be positioned in the premium mid-capacity adventure motorcycle segment in India.
With the launch scheduled for 15th October, enthusiasts and potential buyers are keenly waiting to see how TVS will differentiate the Apache RTX 300 from competitors in this category.
