UK's Nottingham Trent University to offer merit-based scholarships for Indian students

Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK, is offering merit-based scholarships for Indian students enrolling in courses starting January 2026. The scholarships will cover up to 50% of tuition fees for postgraduate programmes. Students will be able to choose from programmes in Business, Technology, Art and Design, Architecture, and Social Sciences.

The categories of scholarships include:

  • The India Prestigious University Award (£4,000)
  • NTU International Merit Scholarships (£3,000)
  • The NTU International Scholarship (£2,000)
Wide range of programmes
Students can pursue programmes across Business, Technology, Art & Design, Architecture, and Social Sciences. Beyond classroom learning, NTU offers professional placements and collaborative projects with partner universities worldwide. Approved education counsellors are also available to help with scholarship applications.


Last year, NTU awarded over 1,300 scholarships to students from more than 80 countries. The university hosts the largest international student community from India, which has grown by 114% in the past five years.

Applicants must have an offer to study in January 2026 to apply.

The scholarship application deadline is Wednesday, November 12, 16:00 GMT. More details are available on NTU’s official website.
