RM speaks about marriage and the pressureDuring a live session on Weverse , RM shared his thoughts on tying the knot or being single forever. “I am already 32 years old,” he said, before adding, “If I meet the right timing and the right person, I might get married, or I could just live alone like this. I don’t think there’s a correct answer,” according to The Chosun Daily . Continuing to voice his internal monologue, he said that there is a lot of pressure to get married, especially for women.

Moreover, the South Korean rapper stated that society and the media are catalysts for pressuring women to have children. “I just hope everyone lives their own way,” he said, adding that there is no correct answer on how to live a life. The answer to being away from feeling alone is not marriage, as one can feel a certain way even with company. “Choosing marriage as a solution or escape from loneliness... I’m not sure about that,” he expressed.

RM opens up about childrenWhen it comes to having children, RM is quite skeptical, as raising himself is overwhelming in itself. He simply questioned how he could bring a child into the world when he thinks about the havoc he created in his parents’ lives in his childhood. “In Korea, I think our generation, starting from those born in the 1990s, is the first where marriage has become an option. I believe everyone should go their own way,” the ‘ Butter ’ singer concluded.
