Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers get financial help every year, but when will the 21st installment come? If old records and news are to be believed, money may come into your account by Dhanteras or Diwali. But many farmers have misconceptions regarding this scheme. Let us remove these misconceptions today and know the truth.
1. Will you not get money without a bank account?
Many farmers think that if they do not have a bank account, they will not get the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana. But this is completely wrong! In this scheme, after filling the form, money is transferred directly to any verified bank account. If your account is not updated, then immediately go to your nearest District Agriculture Office or CSC Center and get it updated.
2. Will farmers sowing new crops not get benefits?
Some people believe that farmers who are sowing crops for the first time will not get the money from this scheme. This is also an illusion. All eligible farmers, whether they are doing farming for the first time or are old farmers, can avail benefits under PM Kisan Yojana. It is just important that your application is correct and submitted on time.
3. Will the money come on the same date every year?
Many farmers think that PM Kisan’s money will come into their account on a fixed date every year. but it’s not like that. Dates are approximate only. For example, the 21st installment in 2023 came on November 15, while in 2024 it came on October 5. This year, farmers of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal and Uttarakhand have already been paid due to floods. Farmers of other states are expected to get money by Diwali or Dhanteras.
4. Once the benefit is received, will it be available automatically every year?
Some farmers who got benefits last year think that now the money will automatically come into their account every year. But it is not true. It is necessary to update the application and data every year. Your bank account, mobile number and land records need to be kept updated. If these are not updated, the money may stop.
5. If the previous installment is not received, will the next installment also not be received?
There is a misconception among many farmers that if the money for the previous installment is not received, then the next installment will also not come. it’s not like that at all. Each installment is released separately. If all your eligibility is fulfilled, the next installment can be credited to your account even if the previous installment is not received.
