
Delhi News: A horrific incident in Ambedkar Nagar area of South District of Delhi has created a sensation in the area. Here, a 28-year-old youth, Dinesh Kumar, was poured boiling oil on Dinesh Kumar by his wife while he was sleeping and then sprinkled red chilli powder. Dinesh’s condition remains critical and he is currently admitted in ICU.
According to the police, this case is a serious form of domestic violence. Police have registered a case against Dinesh’s wife and started investigation. The reason behind the incident and the story behind it are awaited.
Wife poured boiling oil on husband
Dinesh Kumar lives with his family in a rented house in Madangir. His family includes his wife and a small daughter. Dinesh works in a pharmaceutical company. In his statement to the police, Dinesh told that after returning from duty on October 2, he went to sleep after having food. At around 3:15 in the night, he felt a burning sensation in his body and saw that his wife had poured boiling oil on him. After this, the wife sprinkled red chilli powder on those wounds, due to which his condition became more serious.
Landlord and relatives reached out to help
Hearing Dinesh’s scream, the landlord immediately came upstairs. Seeing the inside scene, he informed Dinesh’s brother-in-law Ramsagar, who lives in the neighbourhood, about the incident. Ramsagar immediately took the injured Dinesh to the hospital. Initially he was taken to Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital, but when his condition became critical, he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital.
Police registered the case
Based on Dinesh’s statement, the police registered a case against the wife. The police are now investigating every aspect and trying to find out why this attack took place.
Dinesh told that he was married to Sadhna eight years ago. Two years ago, the wife had filed a police complaint against him, but a settlement was reached between the two. At present, the wife has also filed a complaint in the CAW cell.
