Uthappa appreciated Rohit Sharma and described him as one of the greatest captains of India. He said, “You don’t want players like Rohit to get stuck in a difficult situation. They are such a good player that it is necessary to maintain their respect. Perhaps this decision has been taken to make the change respectable and smooth.”
