Brown Eyed Soul’s company responds
Soon after the social media post went viral, the group’s management agency issued its own statement about the matter. In their statement, they shared that the incident happened around the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that Sun Hoon was not in a stable place regarding his mental health. This allegedly prompted him to send wrongful texts to fellow group members, as well as their families.

They also added, “Although we originally chose not to respond to the media, the spread of inaccurate information and misunderstandings has made it necessary to clarify our position.” They also clarified that they will take legal action if the false accusations continue.

In response, Sung Hoon posted another letter on his account, where he shared that he will stand up for himself and do what is right. He also added that, “I’ve endured so much over the past 20 years. If this is how you want to proceed, I’ll also take every possible legal measure. You portray me as mentally unstable after all those years of perseverance we shared—so I’ll fight to the end to protect my dignity. From now on, I will only speak based on verifiable facts.”
