
Fifteen people have died in a tragic road accident in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. Two injured have been hospitalized. A 10-year-old girl, who survived the accident, has recounted her ordeal.
Bilaspur: 10-year-old Aarushi, who survived the tragic bus accident in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, is now admitted to AIIMS Bilaspur. Even hours after the accident, fear and shock are visible in Aarushi's eyes. In a trembling voice, she explained, "The bus was moving at a normal speed. We had to get off after two stops. I was sitting in the front seat of the bus. Suddenly, a rumbling sound came from the hill near the bridge, followed by a loud crash. In an instant, everything was plunged into darkness. I had been hit on the head, and I couldn't hear anything, but in the darkness, only the screams of people echoed. I was screaming and calling for help, but no one came for a long time.
Everything was quiet
" Aarushi explained that after a while, voices began to come from outside. People broke the window and entered the bus. When I was pulled out, I saw that everything inside was quiet, as if everyone had fallen silent. According to doctors, Aarushi suffered head and arm injuries, but her condition is now stable. Eighteen people lost their lives in this tragic accident, while some others remain in critical condition.
How did the accident happen?
Let us tell you that a terrible bus accident has happened in Bilaspur of Himachal Pradesh. A private bus got hit by a landslide here. 15 people on board the bus died after being buried under the debris. There were 18 passengers on board the bus. They were residents of Marotan, Barthi, Ghumarwin and intermediate stations. The bus driver and conductor also died in this accident. None of the deceased have been identified yet. An official said that the death toll in the bus hit by a landslide in Bilaspur of Himachal has increased to 15.
When did the accident happen?
This accident happened near Balughat (Bhalla Bridge) on Tuesday evening at around 6:30 pm. When landslide debris fell from the hill on the bus going from Marotan to Ghumarwin. The entire bus was hit by the falling debris. Two girls and a boy were rescued safely in this accident. The mother of one of these girls died in the accident. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep grief over the accident and has assured all possible help to the affected families.
