Supermodel Miranda Kerr, ex-wife of actor Orlando Bloom, recently opened up about her positive experience co-parenting with Bloom’s former fiancée, pop icon Katy Perry.
The Australian model appeared on the popular talk show Today with Jenna & Friends, where she discussed her family life while promoting her beauty brand, KORA Organics.
During the interview, Miranda spoke warmly about her close bond with Katy Perry and the harmony within their blended family. She praised Katy’s caring nature, noting that their mutual love for Bloom’s children has helped foster a strong and respectful dynamic.
Katy Perry shares a daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, with Orlando Bloom, while Miranda and the Pirates of the Caribbean star co-parent their son, Flynn.
Although Bloom and Perry recently confirmed their separation through a joint statement, the two emphasized that their focus remains on co-parenting. The statement read that they have “been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting” and will “continue to be seen together as a family,” prioritizing their daughter’s happiness above all else.
Miranda explained that the key to maintaining a healthy blended family lies in “love and respect for each other.” She added, “Everyone’s human, and it’s important to put the children first to ensure everyone feels accepted and loved.”
Reflecting on her family’s journey, Kerr concluded with an inspiring note: “At the end of the day, we’re all human and trying to be the best versions of ourselves. Why not be good examples for our children?”
Her candid comments resonated widely, earning praise from fans who admired her maturity and positivity in navigating modern family life.
