Test Arun Jaitley Stadium Pitch Report: The two -match Test series between India and the West Indies is being played. India won the first match of the series and took a 2-1 lead in the series. Ferozshah Kot has a good batting pitch for the second match of the series. Curitors expect the pitch for the first two days to be favorable for strokeplay. But as the game is moving forward, it is slowly changing. Kotla’s traditional black soil surface is initially known to the batsmen. However, a new center pitch has been created for this test. The batsmen are expected to be dominated in the early days of the match.

A source of BCCI has informed PTI on condition of anonymity, “The center pitch has been created for the test. It will definitely be different from the scoring of a century in 5 balls.” According to the official, the cuetters have deliberately focused on ensuring uniform and proper pitching in the early stages.

Sources further said, “If the West Indies bat batting well, the match is going to last five days. Local curator Ankit Datta Datta is observing the preparations for the pitch and is reported to be the senior Curetor of the BCCI Tapis Chatterjee and Ashish Geometry.

Kota is known for its historically for its slow turn. Where the game is moving forward, the spinners will gradually start showing their magic. But for this test, the batsmen are likely to get the expected relief session on the third day.
