
Health Desk. Fatty liver is a health problem which is increasing rapidly in today’s time. Poor lifestyle, oily food, alcohol consumption, and lack of physical activity are the main reasons. In the initial stage, this disease is without symptoms, but if not treated in time, it can turn into serious liver diseases.
1. Amla
Amla is rich in Vitamin C and is a powerful antioxidant. It protects liver cells from free radicals and speeds up the detox process. Eating a fresh amla or drinking amla juice daily can be beneficial.
2. Turmeric
‘Curcumin’ present in turmeric is helpful in reducing the fat accumulated in the liver. It reduces inflammation of the liver and increases its efficiency. Drinking half a teaspoon of turmeric mixed in hot water or milk is an effective solution.
3. Triphala powder
Triphala powder is made from three medicinal fruits (Harad, Baheda, Amla) and is a natural way to detox the liver. It improves digestion and gradually removes the fat accumulated in the liver. It is beneficial to take Triphala with lukewarm water before sleeping at night.
4. Papaya seeds
Often people throw away papaya seeds, but these seeds can prove to be effective in the treatment of fatty liver. The enzymes present in papaya seeds help in breaking down the fat in the liver. Dry it and make powder and take half teaspoon with water once a day.
5. Fenugreek seeds
Insulin resistance is a major cause of fatty liver. Fenugreek seeds help fight this problem. Chewing fenugreek seeds soaked in water overnight in the morning on an empty stomach or drinking water improves liver health.
