Rinku Singh threat: Sensational news has come to light that Team India’s star batsman Rinku Singh received a threat from the underworld. While disclosing this matter, Mumbai Crime Branch said that this threat was to Dawood Ibrahim’s gang (D-Company). According to the report, between February and April this year, three threatening messages were sent to Rinku Singh’s promotional team from the gang. In these messages, a ransom of Rs 5 crore was demanded from Rinku Singh.

Police took action in this case and arrested two people. One of these accused revealed that he had actually threatened Rinku Singh. This arrest made it more clear that the underworld is behind the threat.

Threat revealed after Asia Cup

Rinku Singh has recently returned from representing India in the Asia Cup. He led the team to victory by scoring the winning runs in the final match of the tournament. But amid this success, receiving threats from the underworld became a matter of great concern.

According to Mumbai Police, the arrested accused contacted Rinku Singh through phone and demanded ransom. This matter also raises serious questions about the players and their safety.

Accused arrested from West Indies

Police said that both the accused who gave the threat have been arrested from West Indies. The names of these accused are Mohammad Dilshad and Mohammad Naveed. West Indies handed over both of them to India on 1 August.

Police also said that these accused were earlier caught in the case of demanding ransom of Rs 10 crore from his son Zeeshan Siddiqui after the murder of former MLA Baba Siddiqui. Meanwhile, one of the two accused revealed that they also called Rinku Singh, threatened him and demanded ransom.

Mumbai Crime Branch took immediate action in the case of threat. After the arrest of two accused, the work to get to the bottom of the case has been started. Police say that such incidents can pose a serious threat to the safety of sports and players.
