British singer Zayn Malik and BLACKPINK member Jisoo is joining forces for a new song. The track blends K-pop and British pop. It will be released on Friday, October 10, 2025.

The song is titled “Eyes Closed”. This will be the first time Malik and Jisoo release music together. Jisoo’s fans will get to hear her first international solo collaboration. For Malik, it marks his first entry into the K-pop music scene.

Both artists announced the release on Instagram. They shared the song’s poster and a short audio clip. The announcement quickly went viral. Fans from around the world reacted with excitement and anticipation.

The music video will be directed by the Under Wonder Content team. The team is known for producing visuals for BTS singer Jungkook’s “Standing Next to You” and Lady Gaga’s “Daisies”. Expectations are high for the video, given the team’s reputation for high-quality production.

Rumors about the collaboration began when Malik attended a BLACKPINK concert in New York. He was with his daughter Khai and shared a photo from the event. He also thanked the group, sparking speculation about a joint project.

Both artists are busy with other work. Jisoo is performing on BLACKPINK’s “Deadline World Tour”, which began in Seoul in July. Malik is preparing for his performance series at Dolby Live in Las Vegas starting January 2026.

In addition to the song, Malik is working on a Netflix documentary series with his former One Direction bandmate, Louis Tomlinson. The series will follow their journey on a road trip across the United States.
