
UP News: Administrative strictness was seen on Wednesday in Gangwalia Tola Karauta village of local tehsil area of Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a joint team of Tehsil administration and police took bulldozer action on illegal constructions done on the school and road land. Through this action, about 16 acres of land was freed from encroachment. During this period, both permanent and temporary constructions were attacked.
This is the whole matter
According to the information received, village resident Vikram Paswan had filed a petition in the High Court regarding illegal occupation of school and public road land. While hearing this, the court had ordered the administration to remove the illegal construction. Even after receiving the order, the occupants did not remove the construction despite notice. Finally, on Wednesday, the administration took strict action and demolished the encroachment.
This is how the action was carried out
The team reached Karauta village under the leadership of Tehsildar Karan Singh. Police from Parasamlik and Bargadwa police stations were also present with them. The administrative team removed the people present on the spot and started the action with bulldozers. During this time, the boundary wall of Ramjatan Paswan, the pucca house of Ram Samuj and the thatched house of Ramhit were razed to the ground. During the operation, the police force had surrounded the entire area to deal with any untoward incident.
Tehsildar spoke on action
Tehsildar Karan Singh said that on the instructions of the government, a campaign to free the tehsil area from encroachment is being carried out continuously. In this sequence, the constructions encroached on school and public road land have been removed. He said that any kind of encroachment on government land will not be tolerated. Earlier, people were informed by giving notice, but the occupants did not vacate the land. In such a situation, the administration was forced to take action.
Karan Singh further said that the campaign will continue further and wherever encroachment on government land, ponds, schools or roads is found, bulldozers will be used without any discrimination. The objective of the administration is to free public places from encroachment and ensure proper use of land in the public interest.
