New Delhi: After a brief halt, Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 has been cleared to resume filming following Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s intervention. The popular reality show, hosted by Kichcha Sudeep, had come under fire earlier this week when authorities sealed the Jollywood Studio in Bidadi Industrial Area for allegedly violating environmental norms. The move caused the show to go off-air temporarily, forcing contestants to vacate the Bigg Boss house.
The issue began after officials from the Bengaluru South District administration and the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) cited concerns over untreated wastewater and improper waste management at the filming site. However, swift action from Deputy CM Shivakumar helped resolve the situation, allowing the makers to continue shooting under strict compliance measures.

I remain committed to supporting the Kannada entertainment industry, while also upholding our responsibility toward environmental protection,” he stated.
