Karva Chauth Vastu Rules: The festival of Karva Chauth is on 10th October i.e. Friday. On this day, married women observe Nirjala fast since morning. This fast is not only a symbol of the husband's long life and marital happiness, but on this day the energy and Vaastu balance of the house can be improved. According to Astrologer Pandit Rakesh Pandey, lighting a lamp in the house on the day of Karva Chauth is considered very auspicious. This lamp should be made of ghee. This spreads positive energy and drives away negative energy.

How will positive energy come into the house?

He says that after worshiping Karva Chauth, a lamp should be lit in the kitchen, in the east direction of the house and near Tulsi. Keep the north-east (northeast) direction of the house clean. This is considered to be the place of Goddess Lakshmi and Parvati. Keep the place of worship in the north or east direction and light the lamp there. While offering Arghya to the moon, face east or north and decorate the house with white and red flowers. This increases positive energy.

According to the astrologer, do not keep blue or black colored clothes in the bedroom, it affects the planet Venus. Keep both the kitchen and worship place especially clean. Lakshmi comes only where there is purity. When the moon is visible in the evening, keep the lamp in the north-east direction and light it. On this day, along with lighting a lamp, also burn fragrant incense, sandalwood and camphor, which removes Vastu defects and gives auspicious results. At the same time there is no shortage of money and grains.

Avoid Vastu mistakes on Karva Chauth

• Do not keep darkness or garbage at the main entrance of the house.
• Do not hang broken or torn pictures on the walls.
• Do not keep the mirror in the bedroom open on this day.
• Do not face south or west during worship.
• Do not light the lamp under wind or fan.
• Do not wear black clothes.
• Do not sweep at night and do not throw garbage outside.
• While offering Arghya to the Moon, do not bow down and do not offer Arghya while sitting.
• Do not leave gas or dirty utensils in the kitchen.
• Do not keep iron objects in the north direction of the house on this day.
