Digital transactions in the world: Nowadays most people do not keep money in their pockets. The reason for this is digital payment. Even in India, most of the people now use UPI for every work. This technology of India is now gradually being launched in other countries also. Recently this service has been started in Doha. However, many people might also be thinking that there are many countries in the world which are ahead of India in terms of technology. So is there any service like UPI in this country or not? Many types of payment services are used in both the American and European markets. However, UPI is not working in both the markets. There are many services operating in the US like ACH, Zelle and Venmo. However, it is not the same as UPI. People in America and Europe now use wallets for instant payments. Many options like Apple Pay and Samsung Pay are given in these. With the help of these apps, users make payments there. However, this money is not transferred bank-to-bank. It is transferred wallet-to-wallet. An option like UPI is also available in America. Some services in America work like UPI. The Zelle payment system is created by American banks. This system is very similar to UPI. It allows users to transfer money from bank to bank. Most major banks have included this service. Similarly, Cash and Venmo apps are also included. However, the way all these apps work is different from each other. Easy payment through UPI Sherak Aggarwal, Chairman of BLS e-Limited, said that the Indian Cabinet Minister has done something which many countries of the world cannot even think of right now. He has created a digital payment service through which banks and payments have reached people’s mobile phones. In other countries, payment systems are still fragmented between individual apps and banks. For example, ACH, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash apps work on different payment systems. On the other hand, most of the apps in India work on UPI. Therefore, every app and bank is connected to each other. With the help of this service, users can transfer money at any time, day or night. How is India’s UPI different from the systems of other countries? India’s UPI is an interoperable system. Here any bank or app can connect with any other app. This is completely different from the closed systems of foreign systems. There, Venmo users cannot send money to Cash App users. This is the biggest difference, where Indian users can transfer money on any platform. As far as security is concerned, this application is regulated by RBI and NPCI of India. This UPI system is secured by multi-factor authentication. Most payment systems abroad are owned and controlled by private companies. In just 9 years, 85 percent of transactions in India are now happening through digital platforms. Wherever digital transactions take place across the world, half of them are based on Indian technology. India has made UPI services available in many countries. Be it a transaction of one rupee or payment in other currencies, this system works for everyone. One thing is certain that UPI is no longer just a payment system. It has now become an inspiration for global finance. Gradually, many countries are adopting this system. In many countries, this system is also being used at tourist places. Additionally, these transactions are also secure.
