In this match played in Visakhapatnam, South Africa won the toss and invited India to bat. Batting first, India scored 251 runs, in which Richa Ghosh’s inning of 94 runs was the most special. In reply, South Africa achieved the target in 48.5 overs, thanks to Nadine Declercq’s brilliant unbeaten innings of 84 runs.
Richa took over India’s innings
The Indian team, which came to bat first after losing the toss, did not have a good start. Openers Smriti Mandhana (23) and Pratika Rawal (37) made a fast start, but were out soon.
